What a day. What a day. What a Day.’

This is what Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson said at the finish of the Cycle Tour after taking 5 hours and 33 minutes to complete the 109 km route.  It was a great time for Branson because by his own admission he had ‘not been on a bicycle since he was ten years old’. He also said he was ‘relieved to have tried the bike the day before, when he learnt how to use the gears at the Ride with Richard charity event for The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship and JAG Foundation

The Journey of Hope 2012

Once again we will be climbing on Honda motorcycles and from the 6 October – 14 October, our group of 16 breast cancer survivors from all walks of life will embark on reaching rural communities in order to create awareness and to educate communities about the importance of the early detection of breast cancer. Riding on Honda motorcycles we will ride from Pretoria to Bethlehem, visiting the Eastern Free State areas of Fouriesburg, Ficksburg, Lesotho, Clarens and riding through KZN through Dundee and Glencoe and heading towards Eshowe and Stanger and then end off in Dbn Central at Ushaka Marine World.
